Bonkers is based on the Disney TV series of the same name. Bonkers is a bob-cat police officer. One day, he reads in a newspaper that a contest for the best policeman is announced. Since his partner is away, Bonkers decides that would be the best opportunity to grab the first prize. In order to win the contest, Bonkers has to catch four famous criminals.
As cool cop Bonkers D. Bobcat you have four cases to crack.
In the first case you must try and put Ma Tow Truck out of business. As you maneuver in your car down the busy freeways, you'll be barraged by a gang of bad freeway drivers. To clear them off the road, you can bash them with your car, shoot them with gum wads, or spread oil slicks in their paths. When all the cars are totaled, it's time to face Ma herself.
Case number two takes place in a junkyard. You must brick up a junk-spewing machine while dodging, ducking, and throwing bricks at springs, pogo sticks, dynamite and other lethal garbage projectiles. You must also throw bricks at The Rat to stop him from destroying sections of your wall. When the wall is built, it's on to the next level.
The third case takes place in a warehouse. Your job is to push around and crack open a bunch of wooden crates in an attempt to find all of Fall Apart Rabbit's pieces before Mr. Big's bomb goes off. Mr. Big's hench-rats are on hand to foil your efforts.
Harry the Handbag's raccoon goons are stealing Toon Treasures from the museum in case number four. While dodging dough-bombs, bats, and animated museum statues, you must hurl rock-hard donuts at the thieving raccoons before they can make off with the valuable treasures.
Each case acts as a singular game, completely separate from the others. Each mini-game also features a unique bonus game, which you get when you successfully complete three games with gradually advancing difficulty in a row.
Bonkers features:
- Features six zany worlds taken right from the animated TV series
- Guide Bonkers and Fall-Apart Rabbit through crazy adventures
- Collect clues while avoiding enemies
- Use bombs and shields to defend yourself against the bad guys
