Welcome to a Rockefeller's lifestyle. In Oil Tycoon you must build an empire around the “Black Gold”. Play your hunches on where to drill, transport it to cities around the world for processing, and staff your rigs with the best engineers money can buy. You make every call in this cutthroat contest against the world's elite billionaire tycoons.

Oil Tycoon puts you in charge of a large oil company. You are tasked with building various structures in various cities, such as Montreal and New York. You must build oil wells, oil purification centers, and other buildings to expand your business.

You must conduct business deals with transport companies, packaging companies, and rival oil firms.

Oil Tycoon features a progressive, in-game technology tree, and various in-game tutorials.
