Do you love strategy games like Risk? Pax Galaxia is a similar type of game where you must manage your armies and skillfully divide and conquer.

Pax Galaxia is a fast paced and addictive real-time strategy game based on the board game Risk. You will have to conquer stars, force your enemies fleets to surrender, and carry out rapid attacks and tactical retreats.

Pax Galaxia is a game that will appeal much more to strategy fans than those looking for fantastic graphics. It is an addictive game that is easy to get started with but tough to master. Very fun and rewarding overall.

You can command multiple stars with just a stroke of the mouse and then watch the armies move from star to star obeying your orders without questioning. Cunning attacks and deceitful retreats, dramatic encirclements and desperate break-through rescue efforts are the highpoints of a wonderfully dynamic game.

Pax Galaxia has a simple, intuitive interface. Most players will not have any difficulty getting around the game's menus and setting up their games. However, if you do, there is a help button in every menu. This button, represented by a question mark, will explain the purpose of the menu and the options available within it.

The difficulty ranges from extremely easy to nearly impossibly difficult. While the easy modes are suitable for a fun couple of minutes trying to beat your time records, the more difficult ones will require all your concentration and the mastery of all the tricks of the game to overcome the computer players.

Once you begin the Pax Galaxia, you will be presented with a stellar map. Each star represents a single planetary system. If two stars are connected with a white dotted line, it is possible for your ships to travel between them. You start out with a limited number of planets and space ships. Each planet type has its own special abilities and produces new ships for you. You must coordinate your ship movements to take over new planets and fight enemy ships. However, you must also play defensively or else the enemy will sneak behind your lines and steal the planets providing you with more ships.

There are more than thirty maps to choose from, and you can quickly make many more using the random map generator and the easy to use in-game editor. You can choose between four levels of difficulty and each map can be played multiple times with each of the opposing forces. You'll be entertained for months.
