Badh the queen has imposed a terrible vengeance on the land by kidnapping the fairies. To restore things their rightful way, you must rescue them.

As the mighty StormLord, you'll journey through worlds of terror in order to reach the valley of the Enchanted Realm and find Crone and company. Using little more than your trusty sword and some superb reflexes, you'll battle creatures of all kinds, vanquishing those who dare to stand in your path. The Dreaded Draconian Fire Dogs will chase you through each stage of your epic quest, forcing you to farthest reaches of a desolate world.

Enemies include Venus Fly Traps, localized acid rain showers and dragons, which can be avoided or shot in the bonus shoot'em up sections. You will need help to reach some levels; this comes form Mael Dvin the Eagle. After each level there's a bonus game in which tears must be collected for points.

As you progress through the levels of platform-adventure action, you will come across fairies which are rescued by touching them.

If you can rescue the Princess, the legend of StormLord will live forever!
