Xenon 2: Megablast is vertically scrolling space shooter, in which you have to pass several levels, filled with waves of enemies, that all end with a level boss creature.
Editor-in-chief says: Xenon 2 Megablast is a game released back in 1989 for various platforms, including Commodore Amiga, Atari ST, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Game Boy and others. The story happens after the Xenites lose in the battle called the Galaxy Conflict. However, after their defeat they come back with a new plan and plant four bombs in space-time areas. The main character of the game had to find the biggest four animals in these places (because the bombs were placed inside them) and kill them, this way managing to save the Galaxy from havoc.

Editor-in-chief says: Super Battle Tank - War in the Gulf takes place during a real life operation between 1990 and 1991, in the Gulf. The war was also called the Persian Gulf War. The player controls and M1 Abrams battle tank and is in United States' military force. The game was released in 1992 and was published for various platforms. The player has to battle with helicopters and Scud launchers and only the M1 Abrams is available for him. The game didn't follow strict guidelines, but it was clear that the setting was the one from the mentioned Gulf War.

The installment was released in 2001 and allows the player to choose from three playable characters: an alien, a predator and a human colonial marine. Not only each characters has its own set of skills and weaknesses, they also have different objectives to achieve, so the game has actually three different parts. When controlling the predator, the player uses some moves and weapons from the movie, which was quite popular too. ‣ Verdict: 6/10

Editor-in-chief says: Midnight Resistance is a run and gun arcade game which is controlled by using a 3D joystick to allow the player to aim in any other way than the one in which the character was moving. This was quite unique and innovative for 1990 and made the experience of playing this game very fun and enjoyable. The player takes control of a military commando that needs to rescue a kidnapped family. The game features multi-directional shooting, fast-paced oriented gameplay, the possibility to upgrade weapons and also bosses for all the levels.

Editor-in-chief says: It Came From The Desert is an old computer game released for the first time for the Amiga system and afterwards ported to many other platforms. The game was inspired from Hollywood and could have been played in single-mode only. The game was rated as an action-adventure release with the gameplay centered on the player choosing what he wants to do next by picking one of the available options in the screens that pop up. Airports, farms, mines and other normal places are featured on the map and the players' main objective is to fight and destroy the giant mutant ants around the city.
