Arrow Flash is a 2d arcade game.
In the latter half of the 30th century, a frightening rumor reached the planet Earth. A group of Viking terrorists, led by a vicious tyrant known as the Great Hilagi, has been plundering and destroying planets throughout the Galaxy. They moved in ominous war ships capable of entering and traveling in Nether Space. Yet the people of planet Earth never suspected that of all the planets in the Galaxy, Earth was to be Hilagi's next target.
The ship in Arrow Flash is unique in the respect that it does change into a robot, and with the change to robotic form, the options that usually follow the ship will assume a formation to the upper and lower left of the robot. As far as weapons go, there are only 3 different weapons to get, nicely named I, II, and III. The first is an upgraded blue shot that is longer in length while the second is a yellow firing laser with a little more power but less fire rate, and the third is a poor-looking wavey laser that will do massive damage but the fire rate is the slowest of the three. The main shot of the ship can be increased to be more damaging by acquiring more power-ups and the power rate will be kept when picking up another weapon. Additional firepower is provided by the typical missles that come in packages of two (another whoop) and, amazingly enough, actually have homing capabilities, thus making the game that much easier too. The missiles can be upgraded once to fire 4 and they will be much faster.
Arrow Flash is a side-scrolling space shooter. You control a female spaceship pilot who is sent on a mission into deep space to save the Earth from an assault by an evil dragon from another galaxy. Moving vertically or horizontally, you must avoid or kill the enemies and make it to the end of the level alive, where a boss battle awaits you. During gameplay, you can switch at any time between two modes: normal spaceship and flying robot. The two forms use different weapons and also have different special abilities, called Arrow Flash. While the spaceship can fire destructive lasers for major damage, the robot can raise a shield that will protect you from enemy attacks for some time and instantly kill anything that touches it. You can either charge Arrow Flash attacks by holding a button for several seconds, or collect icons during your flight to release it quickly afterwards.

One upper is the graphics in Arrow Flash game. Although not graphic intensive all around, there are parts to where a boss is particularly detailed here or a background is nice there. The cloud and space levels are multi-layered and they look good in showing speed. All in all though, the graphics are good, even if a they are sometimes sparsed.
The music is almost as bizarre. The second level of Arrow Flash game has an extremely strange high-pitched violin-style keyboard used in it – yet it still manages to keep that shooter feel to it. Another level has slightly synthesized music that sounds like a screaming ghost. One song even has a striking resemblance to the Garden of Eden rock song. Although some of the music can be catchy and interesting.
